Recipe: Picante Cocktail

At the end of a long week, there’s nothing quite like an ice cold cocktail to get the weekend started. If you like a Margarita, then you’ll love this fiery Picante with its hot chilli kick. Bonus: it’s a good way of using up any leftover coriander.

Ingredients

50ml Tequila

1 tbsp sugar syrup

1 lime, juiced

1 red chilli

Coriander stems and leaves

Method

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle together the tequila, lime juice and sugar syrup with half the chilli and a few coriander stems and leaves. Shake and strain over fresh ice. Use the stalk of the chilli as a garnish (but don’t eat it!).
